By the end of the 19th c. Venice was again mistress of the European glassware market, and its glass once more attained its former lightness, variety of shapes, perfect technique and unfettered, imaginative creativity. It continued its unrivaled tradition of forms so that glasses such as these graced many tables and showed the undimmed skill of the masters of glass-making.
